An 11:00 am kickoff for game 2 of the Season at the Camp.  The Badgers take on the New Mexico Lobos (wolfs) from Albuquerque, New Mexico lead by coach Bob Davie who is in his seventh season.  The Lobos play in the Mountain West Conference and finished last season with a 3-9 record.  That came on the heels of a 9-4 season in 2016 with a win in the New Mexico Bowl.  Speculation has it that coach Davie may not be the head Lobo much longer.  He was suspended earlier this year for the handling of off-field matters.  Before New Mexico he was the head coach at Notre Dame.  In five seasons at Notre Dame, Davie compiled a 35–25 record including three bowl games, most notably the 2001 Fiesta Bowl, a 41–9 loss to Oregon State, which was the first Bowl Championship Series game in school history.  The Lobos mascots are Lobo Louie and Lobie Lucy (seriously).  And a popular cheer is “Everyones a Lobo, Woof, Woof, Woof” (again, seriously, I did not make that up).
